Ann Phelan
Owner and Co-Founder
Ann has always had a passion for horses since she started riding as an 8-year-old. She began working in the camp industry in 2008 assisting with the riding program at Camp Westminster. Over the last ten years, she has held several positions directly teaching horseback riding, leading barn staff, and managing camp riding programs. She currently lives in Conyers, GA and is the barn manager for
Camp Westminster. She loves spending time with her puppy, Indy, and riding her mule, Charlie Brown.
Corie Himstedt
Co-Founder
Corie has loved horses all her life. She realized she had a real love for summer camp and teaching kids how to ride horses her first summer on staff at the Camp WinShape horse barn in 1991. She, her husband James, and her parents founded Strong Rock Camp in Cleveland, GA in 2005. Corie loves life at camp, riding regularly, and home schooling her four kids. She has a passion to see camp riding programs succeed.
